What can you expect from Sled Dog Psychology?

Every day, our physical, emotional and social environments are constantly changing. While routines serve us well, outdated systems often take you further from your goals. An exercise and nutritional program that brought you success in your twenties may not yield the same results in your forties or fifties. Sled Dog Psychology designs health and fitness prescriptions for who you are today.

We will support your mental wellness journey by optimizing your sleep hygiene, hydration, nutrition, physical movement and personal sovereignty training.

An optimized version of yourself can thrive in today’s social environment by saying yes to choices you may have avoided and learning to walk away from the negative stressors in your life. If you want to have life, you have to live life; merely existing will not produce the same results.

The first few months of a new health and fitness program can be overwhelming. Changes to your lifestyle are often accompanied by membership to a new fitness facility that can often bring with it a new set of circumstances and stresses. Sled Dog coaches will listen to your story and design a health and fitness prescription that fits your needs and is simple and reasonable to follow.

This mental wellness membership is designed for Thunder Bay residents as our needs in God’s Country can be different from anywhere else. The membership allows for face-to-face meetings, and for an additional $50/month, you gain access to our training facility and its coaches. Sled Dog has been designing programs for athletes and clients worldwide for fifteen years, and we are accustomed to working with clients at other facilities. If you are in the local area and want to exercise at home or another facility, we can design your movement prescription to accommodate your comfort zone. If your personal stress load is too high to even think about performing a regular exercise program, our other recommendations, combined with daily walking, can prepare you for more challenge and resistance.

After gathering information and developing an understanding of you and your current daily routine, you will be provided with a daily program that includes recommendations for food, water, sleep, movement, and mindset. Daily and weekly check-ins with your coach will help ensure you have the best probability of staying on course through the challenges the first couple of months will provide.

If one-on-one sessions are needed, Bobby is available for 45-minute health psychology sessions for $75 per session.

Integrative personal training and mental wellness coaching packages are also available. These packages were created for clients who achieve their best outcomes by combining on-the-floor coaching in the gym with lifestyle and mental wellness support in the outside world. Integrative packages start at $125/month and increase by $75 with each additional hour of coaching required.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

CHRISTEN S.

"Not only has Bobby improved my physical capacity, but he has guided me to a place of emotional well-being and psychological resilience I didn't realize was possible. He quite literally saved my back and, in doing so, gave me my life back."
